Latest downloads

We launched the iPhone app 2 weeks ago and in the next few hours we will smash through 30,000 downloads!

Fingers crossed, a full weekend of sports action will see this rise to 40,000 this time next week.

The Pitchero app has also made the news, appearing in The Sun and the Guardian's recommended app list.

Thanks to everyone who has sent feedback, this is always read and taken on board.

Bugs

Following the launch, we became aware of a few bugs affecting users with older iPhones. The bug caused the app to crash when the user selected the 'More' section.

The latest update will fix this bug and we recommend all users update the app.

To download the update go to iTunes or the App Store within your phone and click Updates. This should only take a few seconds.



NOTE: If a member downloads the app for the first time, they will automatically download the most recent version.

Android Users

As expected within minutes of launching the iPhone app we were inundated with requests for an Android App. We hope to have this live later in the year but no date has been fixed.

The iPhone app was developed first because this is the most used mobile device across Pitchero - by a long way, we promise!

We are already working on these updates and hope to push them live soon.

We think the app is great addition to your club website and will be loved by players, parents and supporters. We've listed below a few simple ways to promote the app to your members.

Posters

Pitchero has created posters for each sport. They can be printed off and hung around the club house and changing rooms.

The app is free and will keep club members up to date with the latest club news where ever they are.

Players and parents can use the app to confirm their availability and team selection, and check match information such as meet times and location.

This is the first phase of the app. Upcoming upgrades will allow Webmasters and Team Admins to update fixtures, results and team selection within the app.

Plus Team Managers will be able to record match statistics pitch side as they happen!
