FA Cup 2nd Round Preview: 3 Pitchero football clubs in action

The 2019 Emirates FA Cup 2nd Round starts this weekend with three Pitchero clubs hoping to make it to the 3rd round where Championship and Premier League sides enter the competition. Boston United FC:

Boston travel to Rochdale in a tough draw against the mid-table League 1 side. The National League North side will make the trip to Greater Manchester on sunday, looking to reach the 3rd round for the first time since 2004-05. This is their fourth FA cup away tie in a row and certainly their most difficult.

Maldon & Tiptree FC:

The eight tier outfit are live on BBC Two in a broadcast that will earn them £75,000, however the £54,000 they will receive if they can reach the 4th round will be of much greater significance. Maldon & Tiptree host mid-table League 2 Newport County under the lights in a sold out game. Having already beaten League 2's Leyton Orient, The Jammers look to go one step further.

Solihull Moors FC:

Having dismantled Oxford City 5-1 in the 1st round, Solihull have earned a televised home tie with League 1 club Rotherham United on Monday night. Both clubs are on the hunt for promotion in their respective leagues and have never faced each other before. Unbeaten since the end of October, Moors will fancy their chances of an upset on live television. 

Kick Off: Monday 2nd, 19:45PM. Live on BT Sport 1.
