Pitchero Launches Digital Platform For Sports Governing Bodies

Pitchero Launches Digital Platform For Sports Governing Bodies

Press Release: The UK’s leading grassroots technology provider, Pitchero, has today officially launched ‘Together’ - a new digital platform specifically for National Governing Bodies.

The platform uses Pitchero’s established website and application technology – already used by 10,000 clubs worldwide - to help Governing Bodies increase grassroots participation in their sport, generate more revenue through central membership, sponsorship and advertising, capture data, maximise engagement and communicate with participants, whilst helping clubs with their own revenue generation and administration.

A first for the sporting world and the culmination of ten years’ continuous development, ‘Together’ unites the people running the game with the people playing the game.

Using Pitchero’s ground-breaking technologies, ‘Together’ gives Governing Bodies access to real-time participation data – from who, where and when people play, to top scorers and key players. Combined with state-of-the-art messaging apps and club management tools, ‘Together’ delivers a complete solution for Governing Bodies.

The platform can be fully branded with Governing Body and partner logos, giving a seamless and consistent experience for everyone on the platform, from organisers and coaches, to players and fans.

Together’ is available to Governing Bodies of any sport, including football, cricket and rugby and Pitchero hopes institutions such as The FA, The RFU and the ECB will seize the opportunity to connect with and unite their grassroots community through the platform.

Early adopters of the ‘Together’ platform include England Hockey, The Scottish FA, The Welsh FA and the FA of Finland. Timo Huttunen, Deputy General Secretary of the Finland FA commented: “Capturing real time data and communicating with grassroots clubs is essential for the Finland FA.

“To do this, we required a single platform which could be used by all teams and clubs, from elite to amateur. We are optimistic with Pitchero’s huge capability and their ability to provide a platform which can generate new revenue streams and greater digital opportunities for our existing and prospective partners.”

Pitchero CEO Mark Fletcher commented: “Governing Bodies are aware how crucial technology is to the development and growth of grassroots sport. Pitchero is the leading provider of this technology and now, working in partnership with NGBs, we have created a full white label solution for an NGB which unites their grassroots community online with a custom digital network. “Each network will generate considerable revenue for the NGB, not only paying for the cost of the service but generating a positive return which can be reinvested in grassroots sport.’

“In short, we can deliver a solution to NGB’s which drives participation and revenue.”
