Pitchero Play Goal Of The Season 2016/17

Posted by Will Hinch - 19 May, 2017

All week we've been holding a poll on our Non-League news site Pitchero Non-League to crown the Pitchero Play Goal Of The Season. A shortlist of 10 were whittled down to a top three, which we've run down below.

After changing hands on a few occasions as the week went on, Brighouse Town's Benjamin Wharton claims top spot with a sumptuous volley that matched supreme power with top-draw technique.

Honorable mentions go to Marine' Kurt Sherlock and Desean Martin of Hednesford Town; their equally impressive strikes completed our top three.

1st - Benjamin Wharton - Brighouse Town (39% of the vote)
2nd - Kurt Sherlock - Marine FC (20%)
3rd - Desean Martin - Hednesford Town (18%)

Thanks to everyone who voted, we'll leave the final results plus our mouthwatering top ten below just so you can enjoy them all one more time. For more reaction at the end of this Non-League season, head to pitcherononleague.com
