# What’s New at Pitchero: 20th October
- [Tweet](https://twitter.com/share)
We’ve got even more upgrades to share this week, with new updates across club websites and one final opportunity to help us test event-based player availability before its wider launch.
Here’s what’s new.
## One last chance to test event-based availability
Last week, we invited clubs to get early access to our new **event-based player availability** feature.
There’s still time to join the testing group before we roll the feature out to all clubs.
The update will allow players with multiple events on the same day to set their availability for each event individually. This could mean being available for a morning session but unavailable for a fixture later that day.
Admins will also benefit from a cleaner Availability screen, giving coaches and managers a clearer view of who is available for each event.
We’ve already received some brilliant feedback from clubs taking part in the testing.
**ESM Hockey Club** told us the feature had been “really positively welcomed” by the members and working group who had trialled it, describing it as **“a real game changer for our administrators.”**
And if you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still time to get early access and see how the new approach could work for your teams.

## New player profiles are now live
We’ve introduced **upgraded player profile pages** across Pitchero club websites, giving clubs a better way to showcase the people representing their teams.
Player profiles bring key information together in one place and give supporters, members and visitors another way to explore your squad.
They also add another professional touch to your team pages and help make your club website feel more complete.
Now is a good time to review your squad information and make sure player details and images are up to date. High-quality, consistent player images will help you get the most from the new pages and present your teams at their best.
Take a look at the following pages to see the updated layouts in action:

## A fresh look for your club Media pages
We’ve also continued our work to refresh Pitchero club websites with updates to the **Media section**.
The main Media homepage has been redesigned, alongside improvements to the way individual photos and videos are displayed when visitors open them.
The updated layouts give your club content more space and create a cleaner, more consistent experience across the website.
If your club has built up years of photos and videos, it’s worth taking a few minutes to review what’s there. Removing outdated content and making sure your best albums are easy to find can make a big difference to how your website looks to visitors.
## More improvements for your club
These updates are another example of the ongoing work happening across Pitchero.
From improving how your club presents its players, photos and videos online to giving team administrators better tools for managing availability, we’re continually developing the platform around the needs of clubs and volunteers.
Take a look at the latest website updates, make sure your club content is looking its best, and if you’re testing event-based availability, don’t forget to send us your feedback before the wider launch!
