# What’s New at Pitchero: 3rd November

October was a busy month of development across Pitchero, with a steady stream of updates to the Club App, club websites and admin tools.
Some of these changes introduced entirely new features, while others were smaller improvements designed to remove friction from the everyday jobs volunteers carry out.
Together, they all form part of our ongoing work to make Pitchero better for the clubs using it every week.
Here’s a round-up of what changed during October.
## Better tools for team management
One of the biggest updates was the launch of **[Event-based Player Availability](https://blog.pitchero.com/coming-soon-more-flexible-player-availability)**.
Players can now set their availability for individual events when more than one fixture, training session or activity takes place on the same day. This gives coaches and managers a much clearer picture when planning squads.
We also added an **availability summary directly into Team Selection**, making it easier to spot potential issues before finalising a squad.
Other **[Club App improvements](https://blog.pitchero.com/whats-new-at-pitchero-6th-october)** included:
- New Messenger filters for creating conversations and group chats
- The ability to prompt players with a Maybe status to update their availability
- Event locations displayed directly within the Schedule
- The option to set the opposition line-up for fixtures
These updates are all designed to bring useful information closer to the point where admins and coaches need it.
## More improvements to your club website
We’ve also continued upgrading the way Pitchero club websites look and work.
October saw the introduction of **new player profile pages**, giving clubs a more professional way to showcase their squads and individual players.
The **Media section** has been refreshed too, with updated layouts for the Media homepage and individual image and video pages.
Clubs can now add a **feature image to Match Previews**, giving important fixtures more visual impact.
We’ve also introduced **new design upgrades within the Club Shop**, helping products and other club items fit more consistently with the rest of the refreshed website experience.
And when a new member joins, they’ll now see the **club logo on the sign-up page**, making the process feel more clearly connected to the club.
These changes form part of our **[wider programme of club website upgrades](https://blog.pitchero.com/a-fresh-upgrade-for-every-pitchero-club-website)**, with refreshed designs being rolled out across teams, matches, club information, sponsors, documents, contacts, media and more.
## More flexibility for club content
**[Social Cards also received an upgrade during October](https://blog.pitchero.com/social-cards-just-got-more-flexible-in-pitchero)**.
Clubs can now share Social Cards through supported apps installed on their device, giving volunteers more flexibility over where they publish matchday graphics and other club content.
Combined with the ability to set opposition line-ups, clubs now have more options when creating and sharing matchday updates.
This builds on the **[updated Social Card designs](https://blog.pitchero.com/upgraded-social-media-card-templates-for-your-club)** introduced previously, giving clubs more professional graphics as well as more flexibility over where they share them.
## Smaller changes that save time
Some of the most useful improvements are the ones that remove small pieces of unnecessary admin.
When assigning a product, the member list can now be sorted, helping admins find the right people more quickly.
Admins responsible for **[Secure Documents](https://blog.pitchero.com/introducing-secure-documents-a-safer-way-to-manage-club-documents)** can now receive a daily email summary of uploads awaiting review, reducing the need to log in just to check whether there’s anything requiring attention.
And **Shop and Payment transaction exports** can now generate in the background. Pitchero will notify you when the export is ready, so you don’t need to sit and wait for the file to finish generating.
## Continuous improvements for every club
October wasn’t about one single major release. It was about improving lots of different areas of Pitchero throughout the month.
From player availability and team selection to website design, payments, communications and admin, we’re continuing to develop the platform around the needs of clubs and volunteers.
Some changes are immediately noticeable. Others simply make a regular job a little quicker or clearer.
And importantly, **these improvements are included as part of your existing Pitchero service**.
