Product Update: Match Fee Reports

Written by Pitchero | Fri, 29 Apr 22

It's now easier to find and chase outstanding Match Fees, with the new Match Fees Dashboard, Player Report and Fixture Report.

These next-level reports give you a breakdown of payment performance, giving you complete visibility of missing payments and potentially even problem payers!

Each update is live and available for all clubs using Pitchero to collect match fees online - we'll look at each update in more detail below, but for a full demo of the new updates click here to register for a live Webinar this Wednesday 4th May at 8pm.

Why have we improved the Match Fee reports?

At the beginning of the year, we reached out to a handful of clubs already using the Pitchero Match Fees tools and asked them for their feedback.

Feedback was great, but there were 3 common themes during the conversations. These were:

  1. Admins and coaches needed an easy way to identify players who were behind on payments
  2. Admins and coaches need to be able to easily identify fixtures where match fees have not been paid/requested
  3. Need to be able to easily chase late payments

This led to the creation of a new and improved Match Fees Dashboard, Fixture Report & Player Report.

Fixture Report

The new Fixture Report lists all fixtures where Match Fees have been assigned, showing the number of assignments, percentage of paid assignments and revenue received per fixture to easily identify any missing revenue.

You can filter your fixtures by date, team and paid percentage to easily get to the data you need.

Most importantly, if you have a fixture with unpaid Match Fees, simply click on the fixture to go to the Match Fees section of the Match Centre, where you can send reminders or record cash payments.

To see your Fixture Report, go to your Club Control Panel, Click Match Fees on the menu on the left, click Dashboard then click Fixture Report.

Player Report

The Player Report enables you to get a player-by-player view of their Match Fee assignments, and crucially, send reminders to those with one or more outstanding payments.

The initial view displays an overview of all players at the club including a handy % paid bar to easily identify a player's payment performance. There are also filters and a name search to narrow down your results.

Clicking on a player in the report will take you to a page which lists all fixtures where the player has an assignment; showing the status and the amount requested. For the fixtures where there is an amount outstanding, you can easily send a chaser using the 'Request Payment' button.

To view your Player Report, go to your Club Control Panel, Click Match Fees on the menu on the left, click Dashboard then click Player Report.

Match Fees Dashboard

The new dashboard will give you the usual headline stats for your match fee collection over a given time period, as well as the all-time number of assignments you've made to a Match Fee and the assignments that remain unpaid.

We've enhanced this dashboard with the addition of fixture data from the fixture report, so you can quickly see the status of your last 5 fixtures with assigned Match Fees, as well as links to see the full Fixture and Player reports.

No hiding place!

If you're new to the world of collecting Match fees online, you may well have been missing out on vital revenue for your club from players or parents that managed to avoid paying their subs/match fees.

With these reports, there's no hiding place for players. If a player is selected in a fixture and assigned to a Match Fee, you'll have a full record of each payment (or missed payment) and you can quickly take action to collect any missed payments.
