Today we have released a major upgrade to the Shop and Payments feature. It is now possible to change the price of an active recurring subscription.
This means you can keep money coming in to the club all year round, and keep members paying you a subscription fee which is only cancelled when the member requests so - similar to how you might pay for gym membership.We like to call this Lifetime Membership.
How to change the price of a recurring payment:
Save time and effort.
If your club is selling a subscription product which you want to increase or decrease the price of (like a membership paid for continually each week or month), there is no longer any need for members to cancel their current subscription and sign-up to a new product at a new price.
Less fuss for you and your members.
Now, clubs can simply change their current membership prices online with minimal fuss to webmasters or paying members.
Any change in price will be adjusted automatically when money is deducted via members' payment methods and they will be notified of the price change via email.
No need to re-register all of your players.
This is excellent news for volunteers and members alike because webmasters no longer need to create a new membership product each time the price changes, and members no longer need to purchase it. It’s a win win!
How to change the price of a subscription product?
- Go to your club control panel
- Click 'Shop and payments' from the left-hand menu
- Click 'Products' from the sub-menu
- Click vertical three dots symbol on the right-hand side of a product
- Choose 'Edit product'
- Click vertical three dots symbol then ‘Edit’ on the right-hand side
- Edit the price and select ‘Submit’
This will update the price of the subscription with the payment provider and also email everyone who has bought that product to advise them of the price change.
