Managing a busy sports club often means dealing with hundreds or even thousands of member records.
Keeping that information accurate and organised is essential, but duplicate records can make the job much harder.
That’s why we’ve introduced a major enhancement to the parent application & moderation processes, helping clubs maintain a cleaner and more accurate Membership Database.

Reducing duplicate child records
When a member applies for the Parent role, they are required to provide their child’s name, date of birth, and team.
During the moderation process, Pitchero uses intelligent matching technology to check whether a member with the same or a similar and date of birth already exists in your club’s Membership Database.
This gives club administrators the information they need to make a more informed decision before approving the application or creating another member record.
Find potential matches quickly
A simple traffic light system highlights the most likely matches within your database.
This makes it quick and easy to review the suggested records and, where appropriate, connect the parent to the existing child rather than creating a duplicate profile.
By reducing duplicate records, clubs can keep important membership information together and make it easier for administrators and team officials to manage members throughout the season.
You remain in control
The suggested matches are designed to support your decision, not make it for you.
If no suitable records are identified, or you don’t believe the suggested matches are correct, you can simply choose to create a new member record instead.
This gives clubs the benefit of intelligent matching while ensuring administrators remain fully in control of the moderation process.
