As non-league football looks to return in the autumn, here on the Pitchero blog, we thought we’d showcase some of the best YouTube video content out there.
Full Time Robins
This is a football fan’s experience of the matches in the Vanarama National League North. There’s also videos of other non-league grounds around the country too.
It’s from the perspective of Altrincham FC fans but gives a real authenticity from driving to matches to the atmosphere of being in the stands watching a penalty shootout.
Chief Brody
Chief Brody is a young supporter who follows the fortunes of Harrogate Town (who sealed promotion for the first time to the English Football League recently).
This is excellent coverage of a football fan’s dedication to his team’s journey up and down over years.
Into Added Time
A dedicated YouTuber for the past 6 six years, Bradley runs Into Added Time. Its focus is the fluctuating fortunes of York City FC, with a dash of Scottish football thrown in for good measure.
From previews and predictions to season reviews, there’s plenty here for non-league football fans of all allegiances.
Non-League Matchday
This is another Non-league football hub well worth checking out on YouTube.
Where else can you see the best of a pre-season friendly at the Entaco between Studley FC and Halesowen Town in August?
The quality of the video footage is a major plus, as is the breadth of what can be searched for from goal celebrations to individual non-league football teams.
Non League Football documentary
As a bonus, here’s Alex Sparrow’s Non-League Football documentary called ‘Football’s Unseen Heroes’ with access to all of the dramas and people at Wormsley Rovers FC.
