Thanks to everyone who gave us their thoughts (if you haven't yet you can do so here). Here's the updates we've made:

Homepage Slider

The Featured Content section at the top of your homepage makes it easier for your members to see exactly what’s changed on your website since their last visit.

You have complete control over what content appears at the top of your club website, and we've now given you more options with how you present that content. We've introduced a homepage slider, which automatically cycles through all the content currently featured on your club website.

You can switch the slider on-and-off in the following section of the Design Builder:

Homepage Template >> Starter (Customise template) >> Featured Content

Feature more content

Other improvements to Featured Content section of your club website include the ability to showcase more content. We've added two more slots to the Featured Content section, pushing even more of your best content to users as soon as they hit the website.

Plus, there are no restrictions on the type of content you can feature. It's now possible to showcase upcoming Events as Featured Content on your site.

We've also added a "Recent Activity" page, which contains all the latest updates from your club. You'll find the link to it in beneath all your Featured Content.

Streamline your Match Centre

You've also now got greater control over which teams appear in your Match Centre.

You can opt to show all of your teams, or a selection of your choice. To edit your Match Centre feed, head to the following section of your Design Builder:

Design >> Homepage Template >> Starter (Customise template) >> Main Content >> Match Centre

We've been hard at work at Pitchero HQ finalising a huge design upgrade to your club website. With the release of a brand new template, the “Starter”, plus a new website header, your club website has never had so many options.

To bring these brilliant design features to your club, we've created a new design tool in the Club Control Panel which offers you unparalleled levels of flexibility.

A brand new template

The Starter template brings a clean, simple design to your club website. Thanks to a wider body, content appears uncluttered in a spacious, crisp homepage design that’s as easy to view on mobile as it is on desktop.

Aside from the improve aesthetics, the Starter template brings a variety of new layout possibilities to your club website.

Showcasing the most recent updates in the top section, content is divided into recognisable blocks - the position of which is now fully customisable (more on that later).

We've also released a fantastic new template on our Standard and Pro Packages. Take a look at what it can bring to your club here.

Smart new headers

Alongside the Starter template, we've added four new Headers: “Simple”, “Compact”, “Centered” and “Classic”. Each header integrates perfectly with the new website template, giving your club even greater flexibility in how your website looks.

Plus, you can now add up to four club sponsors to your website header – a feature that is fully controlled by you.

Unprecedented layout options

We want to put you in command of the look and feel of your website; so alongside the new template, we've launched a brand new “Design Builder” section to your Club Control Panel.

In the Design Builder you can now tweak the design of your club website to greater suit the needs of your club and it's users.

Again, flexibility and choice are central to these new features. You can prioritise categories of content by pushing it up and down the homepage as you see fit. You can even toggle categories of content such as Team information and Social channels on and off at your own discretion - the layout is now completely in your hands.

Crucially, the Design Builder updates your website tweaks in real time thanks to a built-in preview mode.

Any changes made in the Design Builder can be viewed as you do them but will not go live until you hit publish, giving you added flexibility in experimenting with the layout of your club website.

Promote your best content

To add to the wealth of layout options, we've also built a "Recent Activity" to the Content section of your Club Control Panel.

Here, you're free to promote any pieces of content (be it match reports, photo albums or events) into your Recent Activity feed, and exclude any updates you don't want to appear at the top of your homepage. Plus, you can adjust the position of various pieces of content on activity feed, so content appears in exactly the order you want it to.
