Pre-season checklist

It's that time of year already, pre-season is almost over and getting your clubs website back into action for the upcoming season will be on your list of priorities.

Having an efficient running website is great for you and your club, so if you haven't quite got round to it yet then don't worry, we're here to help.

If you make sure you've completed the points below, getting your club up and running will be a stress free process and you'll be ready for another exciting season.

1. Joining official leagues/competitions

Making sure your club is connected to the correct league and any other competitions you're taking part in will be important. Pitchero stores thousands of leagues in a single database and connecting to the right one is will be a straight forward process.

To join an official league or cup competition, access your Club Control Panel and click the ‘Teams’ tab, then select your team name followed by ‘Competitions’ from the left-hand menu. You should then be taken to a page like below, from there searching and selecting your league will be simple.

2. Migrating players

At the start of a new season, existing junior players will need to be moved or migrated to a new team. For example, your U10's players will have to be moved up to U11's and your U11's will need to be moved to the U12's. This can all be done in the Membership Database by Webmasters.

Fancy finding out more about how to migrate players? Watch this YouTube video to get all the information you need with this process. Furthermore, this page gives you helpful information with regards to moving players between teams.

3. Get your payments set up

Our new and improved Shop and payments system is now up and running, making it easier and quicker than ever before to gain more revenue for your club.

Head across to your website to make the most of our awesome new features before the new season gets underway, getting your membership fees and other payments in early will be a bonus for your club.

4. Download the Manager app

The Pitchero Manager app is free to download on iOS and Android, so gaining Club admin access has never been easier when you're out and about.

The Manager app has everything you need to be able to manage your club successfully. You can check availability and send prompts to players about an upcoming fixture, select and confirm your team, add new members and post live in game statistics.

5. Make a design request

Clubs can make a new design request each year, so giving your website a refreshed look is definitely something worth considering.

Even if you're happy with the look of your website, why not take a look at the new design templates we have to offer that we introduced last summer?
