Coming Soon: More Flexible Player Availability

We’re making some important improvements to player availability in Pitchero, giving players more flexibility when responding and giving club admins a much clearer view of who is available for each event.

The new event-based availability update is coming soon and is designed specifically for those days when a team or player has more than one fixture, training session or event scheduled.

Set availability for individual events

Currently, players set their availability for the day. That works well when there’s only one event taking place, but it can be less useful when multiple events are scheduled on the same day.

With the upcoming update, players will have more control over how they respond.

If there are multiple events on the same day, they’ll be able to either set their availability for the whole day or choose to set their availability for each individual event.

For example, a player might be available for a morning training session but unavailable for an afternoon fixture. Instead of having to give one response for the entire day, they’ll be able to make their availability clear for each event.

This gives players more flexibility while helping teams collect more accurate availability information.

A clearer Availability screen for admins

We’re also making significant improvements to the Availability screen used by club and team admins.

When multiple events take place on the same day, it’s important that coaches and managers can quickly understand which players are available for which event.

The updated Availability screen will provide a cleaner and clearer view of player responses, making it easier to track availability across multiple fixtures, training sessions and other events on the same day.

Rather than having to interpret one availability response across a busy schedule, admins will be able to see more clearly who is available for each event.

That means better information when planning squads, organising training sessions and making team selections.

Giving clubs better availability information

These changes are designed to make availability work better around the way clubs actually operate.

Players get more flexibility when their day includes multiple events, while admins get a clearer picture of exactly who they have available.

Event-based availability is coming soon to Pitchero. We’ll share more information when the update is ready to go live.
